Lukashenko said that Grodno region will not go to Poland

It will not work to join the Grodno region to Poland “if Belarus disintegrates”, said Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
According to the head of state, Belarus’s “unsettled neighbors” are beginning to interfere in the country’s internal affairs, waging a “diplomatic war.”
He noted that Minsk is forced to spend a lot of money to stabilize the situation on the western borders.
“You see these statements that if Belarus disintegrates, the Grodno region will go to Poland. They already openly talk about it, sleep and see. They will not succeed in this regard, I know that for sure, ”BelTA quotes Lukashenka.
Earlier, during a speech in Grodno, the Belarusian president said that in the West, “even, rubbing their hands … recalls about the“ descent of Kresa ”(eastern outskirts. – RT).”
“Today there are enough of those who would like to chop off at least a piece of this land, especially this western pearl of Belarus,” Lukashenka said.
According to him, the instigators of the protests in Belarus are not the Belarusians: “They are sitting there – near Warsaw, near Vilnius”.
After that, the head of the office of the Polish president, Krzysztof Szczerski, said that Poland did not intend to lay claims on the territory of Belarus and violate its territorial integrity.
