According to a survey of VTsIOM, 23% of Russians believe that gays and lesbians must be treated. Sociologists note that the proportion of people who consider representatives of the LGBT community to patients is stable since 2004. At the same time, in 17 years from 24% to 31%, the proportion of those who believe that sexual orientation is a personal matter of everyone. At the age of 24, most respondents answer the questions of researchers. 75% of Russians are negative for one-sex marriage.
